More Than Just a Dentist
Dr. Frank Liu is a Bay Area native, completing his undergraduate studies at University of California, Berkeley. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. After finishing dental school, Dr. Liu completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Hospital and Community Regional Medical Center at Fresno where he received advanced training in pediatric, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Liu is committed to partnering with his patients to attain and maintain outstanding oral health. He believes oral health is directly related to overall health and happiness so his top priority is providing quality and compassionate care for patients of all ages. Dr. Liu is thorough in understanding each patient’s concerns in order to tailor a treatment plan to meet their unique goals.
Dr. Liu’s passion for dentistry has led him to serve as an adjunct faculty for dental students at Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine as well as an examiner for the Dental Board of California.

We were on the search for a specialist for a while for mom. She needed her lower crowns and partials redone. We were lucky to have found Dr. Liu. Since the work was extensive, It required 7-8 appointments across 3 months. Dr. Liu was very patient and thoroughly explained the procedures and her options in Chinese. He custom designed mom’s lower teeth based on her molds. Mom was ecstatic with her new choppers. The cost was reasonable.
The office is in a spacious medical building with plenty of parking. Dr. Liu has state of the art equipment I haven’t previously seen so it was a fascinating conversation with Clare, his wonderful dental assistant. Isn’t modern technology incredible? While scheduling an appointment, we learned Dr. Liu was away for a class to expand his knowledge. You can tell he obviously cares so much about his patients and offering the best care possible.
